1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that the sites you visit send to your device, where they are stored and then sent back to those same sites on your next visit. Similar technologies are also used, such as the browser's local storage and session storage: where this page says "cookie" it means those too, because the rules that apply are the same.
2. What this site uses
a) Technical / necessary
Essential to the operation of the site: they remember the choice you made about cookies, how many demo attempts you have already used, and whether you dismissed the assistant's message. They stay on your device and are not transmitted to anyone. They do not require consent.
b) Third-party analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and which tools of the site get used. They are installed only after explicit consent: if you refuse, or until you choose, Google's library is not even loaded and no data leaves your browser.
What we measure: pages viewed, which tools are started and with what outcome, when a form is submitted. What we do not measure: the text you type into the chats, the addresses of the product pages you paste into the demo (we keep only the domain, for example example.com), email addresses, and calculated prices. We do not cross this data with the contact details left in the forms.
c) Marketing
We use the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) to measure our advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram and to show them to people who have already visited the site. It is installed only after explicit consent, given separately from the measurement consent: if you do not tick "Marketing", or until you choose, Meta's library is not loaded and no data is sent to Meta.
What we send to Meta: the page viewed, the successful submission of a contact or trial form (without name, email, phone or message text) and a click on one of the site's email addresses. Meta may link these events to your Facebook or Instagram profile, if you have one: for this part Meta and B4 S.r.l. are joint controllers (Art. 26 GDPR), under Meta's Business Tools terms.

The Google cookies appear only after you accept measurement, the Meta cookie only after you accept marketing. If you refuse, they are not created; if you withdraw marketing consent, the Meta cookie is deleted.
4. Managing consent
On your first visit a banner is shown with three buttons: "Accept all" and "Refuse", of equal weight, and "Customise", which lets you choose the two purposes, measurement and marketing, one by one (the boxes start unticked). Closing the page without choosing counts as a refusal, and the request comes back on your next visit. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page, or by clearing the site's data in your browser settings.
5. Third parties and transfers
There are two active third-party providers, each only with consent to its own purpose:
- Google Ireland Limited for Google Analytics 4. Their notice: policies.google.com/privacy. In our configuration the IP address is anonymised and Google's advertising signals are switched off.
- Meta Platforms Ireland Limited for the Meta pixel. Their notice: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Both also process data in the United States, on the basis of the Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
